Deze top 10 lijsten zijn altijd in beweging; een goede film uit bijvoorbeeld 2004 die ik pas dit jaar zie, kan altijd alsnog worden toegevoegd. Voor de juiste plaatsing qua tijd houd ik het jaar aan dat door IMDb wordt aangegeven. Door het lopende jaar heen vul ik de lijsten langzaam aan. Hierdoor is het meest recente jaar vaak pas vanaf september enigszins serieus te nemen. 1992 is het eerste jaar met voldoende films die ik heb gezien om een top 10 te maken.
