'El Dorado' is a quintessential western from great director Howard Hawks. It stars Robert Mitchum as a sheriff of a town, John Wayne as his friend and James Caan as a friendly guy they just met. They (and a lot of other people) have some trouble with a gang. It is the classic western-story with some great moments. 'El Dorado' is never boring and again John Wayne is not that bad as Cole Thornton. A very real western, highly enjoyable.
