Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

The first really great Stanley Kubrick movie is 'The Killing'. Some normal guys and a guy just released from prison have a plan to steal two million dollars in cash from a race track. Everything has to go on time, not too late, not too early. The wife of one of the characters has a little plan of her own.

'The Killing' was the first in a row of great films by one of the greatest directors ever. 'Spartacus', 'Dr. Strangelove', '2001', 'A Clockwork Orange' and 'Full Metal Jacket' just to name a few. Kubrick's direction is great. Every aspect in the film adds the right thing. Music, editing, cinematography and of course the performances by very talented actors. A good story with a great ending.
