Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

The thing you will do after you have seen 'Memento', despite whether you liked it or not, is think about it for a pretty long time. You will ask yourself whether the story is truly great or if it only seems that way. Did you absolutely get every part of the film? Do you need to watch it again?

The story is told backwards in a way that is hard to describe. Every next part ends with the beginning of the part you saw before that. The main character has a form of short term memory loss. He doesn't know what just happened and because of the story is told this way, you don't know either. It makes sure this is a movie experience we have not had before. Because of this editing, the film becomes great. Told in a normal way the story isn't that much; the surprises and the humor would be gone. Now it is a movie to talk and think about after you have seen it.

Personally I think it is great, with nice acting, direction and, like I said, great editing. Maybe you will not like it. Maybe you will agree with me and love it. This is one of those movies where there is no doubt about the fact that you have to decide this for yourself.
