Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

This is a great Hitchcock. The story about two total strangers meeting on a train and swapping a murder is simply great. One of the two guys thinks the other is joking until the other actually commits a murder. What happens further is not important to reveal here, the start alone makes it very interesting.

The actors are all pretty good, especially Robert Walker. The only irritating for me was that he reminded me a little of Bill Murray, more a funny guy than a crazy killer. But still he was great. The directing, of course in a Hitchcock, is great and the most astonishing thing about it is the cinematography. It was marvelous.

Just see this Hitchcock, up there with his best like Rear Window, Psycho and Vertigo.
